A Beer After Climbing!

After Jack’s birthday weekend, we went out with Novak and Mark for a quick bite to eat after climbing! They couldn’t make it to the New with us, so we went to Fireworks Pizza to celebrate a little more.

I ordered the Weyerbacher Heresy on draft by Weyerbacher Brewing Company or Easton, PA at 8% abv.

A Russian Imperial Stout that pours pitch black. Immediately tasted of bourbon! Also roasted malts, dark chocolate, hints of vanilla and coffee. Light smoky, oak and char. Thick and heavy, wonderful mouthfeel. Everything a stout should be. Such a delicious beer!

Sorry this one’s so short and sweet!
