Katy and Andy are a couple that we met climbing that we have a ton in common with. Most importantly climbing and a love of good beer.
In the cold, dark days of early January, we had quite a night of diverse, tasty brews.
I really enjoy sampling beers with them because we enjoy such different styles. I tend to drink Belgians, sours, and dark beers. Andy is slowly changing my stance on IPAs.
I feel like the winter is such a boring time, so I couldn’t let these good times and good beers go.
And a big thanks to the best bar tender, Mike!
Ok, all of these beers were consumed over two visits to Windber Hotel, not one. My liver couldn’t handle that.
Such a good bar.
Just what you always wanted, more beers with little to no commentary. My apologies.
I can’t believe these beers we’re all back at Christmas time. So many new beers have happened since then!
I’m on a roll now, more to come!
A few friends and family keep asking me when I’m going to post again, and I feel so guilty! It’s almost like a disorganized closet, there’s so much in there and so much to do, that I keep closing the door to avoid it.
I’m just gonna jump right in and try to highlight the best or most memorable beers that I’ve had in the past few months. Here goes….
Ok, more to come. I know there wasn’t any description, but at least I tackeled it somewhat!
