In the morning, I biked to and tried out a different climbing gym called Obiekto.
It only opened 5 months ago so it was still pretty clean. I bouldered for about an hour and a half and it was only $3!
Lunch at a cafe, then I walked over to the Neon Museum right as it was starting to rain.
It was an unusual museum. Neon lighting was discovered in 1898. The different colors are dependent on the gas that is being ionized. This museum was to preserve Soviet era neon lights.
Right as I got to a bike rental station, it started to pour! I quickly ran in to the nearest building which happened to be a theater. I got a beer from the cafe and waited out the downpour.
Once the rain stopped I biked back across the river in to old town.
A big thank you to Eric for a fantastic craft beer bar suggestion! I easily found Same Krafty and had some fantastic beers!
I had two dark beers, the first one (I don’t know where the picture went!) was Katastorfa, a peated imperial stout. The second was Smoky Joe. Such a great selection, I’ll definitely try to go back if I’m in the area again.
