Sunday in Warsaw

Today I went to the royal palace. It’s the red brick building to the right.

Like the other palaces and castles visited so far, it did not disappoint.

That old dude is actually a clock! Kronos.

Then I hiked it across town and went to the Warsaw Uprising Museum.

Everything in the museum was very powerful and moving. Lots of tears and emotions from everyone inside.

It was about how the Polish home army tried to resist the Nazis. The Soviets were also coming, to help. But it didn’t work and Germany destroyed the city. Hundreds of thousands of people died, mostly civilian executions.

And I’m taking a day off of drinking. I never drink this many days in a row at home. I’m enjoying a bubble tea and people watching.
