A beautiful day in Riga

I am continuing to love Riga. This hostel is so much better too. Everyone here is more friendly and almost everyone speaks flawless English.

After tea and breakfast I went first to the Latvian War Museum.

Next, I went to the Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation.

This anchor was found with the remains of a boat at the bottom of Riga harbour. Dating back to the 13th century.

I was loving the museums and lost track of time, by the time I realized I needed lunch I was famished. Of course I proceeded to stuff myself. Feeling too full, I needed to lie down.

I found this adorable tea house!

So relaxing.

Then I met up with my roommates for beers!

I had a blast! It stays light out here till a little past 11, it throws off your internal clock. Before I knew it, it was after 3am and I had to call it quits. These people party!  Haha and then the sun comes up at 4!
