On the road again!

This time to Stockholm! The best part of this trip is that Jack is with me this time too! We landed at 5 pm and were ready to start exploring.

First stop was the Brewdog bar, conveniently located around the corner from our Airbnb. (It may have been the deciding factor when choosing our location)

Then we had dinner at Pelikan, a restaurant that serves traditional Swedish food. The food was amazing! All of our dishes came with a side of raw egg yolk to be poured over the food. I loved it!

We meandered around and found a breathtaking lookout.

Climbing in Kalymnos

The climbing here is fantastic. This was my view from the top of a climb when I turned and looked behind me.

Like most climbing trips, it’s hard to get pictures of the actual climbs when there are only two people. We rented a scooter to get around the island and got these great views.

And goats and sheep are everywhere!

After a breakfast of unbelievable Greek pastries, we took the metro to the Acropolis.

The Arch of Hadrian.

We then walked to the Panathenic Stadium, it was excavated in the 1860s-70s and rebuilt. It’s the only stadium in the world to be made entirely out of marble. It hosted the first modern Olympic games in 1896.

Found pretty good beers at a place called Beertime!

And I’ll always remember Athens for its copious amounts of junk shops.

The first day in Athens was a half day. Jack landed about thirty minutes before my flight from Sofia landed. Once we got settled we started walking around. We meandered through the streets and came across the Agora and went inside.

A nice view of the Acropolis!

Then more street wanderings before dinner.
